Sound familiar?
Rock hard upper back
Your jaw hurts when you eat
Checking your blind spot hurts
Afternoon headaches
"I just feel tight all the time"
Low back ache after sitting
It feels like there are only two options. Live with the pain, or depend on medication for it.
There's a third option. Treat the muscles and joints actually causing it.
Research backs up going hands-on first.
A 2026 meta-analysis covering more than 6 million patients found that people who saw a chiropractor for spine pain were about 64% less likely to receive an opioid prescription than those who didn't, consistent with CDC guidance recommending non-drug approaches and spinal manipulation as first-line care for most chronic pain.¹ ²

Who you’ll see
Hello. I'm Dr. Kim, a licensed chiropractic physician in Bethany.
I started Align Northwest because getting care shouldn't be this complicated. Somewhere along the way, getting help turned into a process, so I brought it back to what matters.
Simple, hands-on care. I figure out what's tight or stuck, work on it directly, and send you on your way.
If I don't think I can help, I'll tell you, and point you to someone who can.
Jaw pain and headaches, treatable
You don’t have to live with it.
A lot of jaw pain and headaches come from tension in the muscles and joints, and it often goes untreated at the source.
Treating it is something I focus on.
What it costs

Full 15 minutes of soft tissue work + adjustment, one flat price.

It's hands-on work on the muscles and tissues. Think deep massage with a clinical purpose. Some examples include trigger point therapy and myofascial release. Some other therapies such as manual decompression may be suggested depending on what's going on.
-
In my experience, that's what gets the best results. An adjustment frees up the joint, but if the surrounding muscle is still tight, it tends to pull things right back. Working the soft tissue first means the adjustment holds, and you actually stay better longer.
-
Plenty of people don't like the "cracking," and that's completely fine. If a traditional adjustment isn't for you, low-force options can be just as effective. Instrument-assisted adjusting delivers quick, light impulses, and joint mobilization moves the joint through its range without the sudden push or the pop.
You're always in control. Tell me what you're comfortable with, and we'll work that way.
-
Most of the time no. The adjustment itself is usually quick and brings relief more than pain. Soft tissue work can get intense in spots, especially on a tight muscle or a knot, but it should be the kind of discomfort that feels productive, never something you're gritting your teeth through.
You set the pressure. Tell me to ease off and I will, anytime. Nothing here is about pushing through pain. -
No. we don't sell supplements or products. If a supplement or imaging like an X-ray or MRI is ever warranted, I'll explain why, but it's never a routine add-on.
-
Not at this time. Align Northwest is cash-pay, which is what lets us keep everything simple.
You can use your HSA or FSA card here. And if you'd like to seek reimbursement from your insurance, I'm happy to provide a detailed receipt you can submit to them.
-
Pretty simple. We'll start by talking through what's bothering you and a bit of your history, so I understand what's going on. Then we'll check your vitals and examine the area, where it's tight, what's tender, how it moves, both to find the source and to make sure treatment is safe for you. From there we get right into treatment, the same day
Your first visit runs a little longer since we're starting fresh. After that, you're in and out.
